The Basilica Square Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Rome, in Piazza di San Giovanni in Laterano, just 5 minutes from the Colosseum, Fori Imperiali, Piazza Venezia and from the major tourist attractions.

The Bed and Breakfast is inside a palace of the 19th century; elegantly restored safeguarding all the original architectural characteristics, it boasts a perfect position to visit Rome. From here you can easily reach all the principal sites of historical and artistic interest of the city and also the most famous areas for shopping.

Lodging in our Bed and Breakfast means staying in the heart of the city, at a few steps from the magnificent monuments of Rome, from the principal areas of art exhibition, and also from renowned restaurants, pubs and Roman “trattorie”.

The apartment in Basilica Square B&B is composed by a wide hall, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a comfortable kitchen.
The bedrooms are furnished in a refined way and in a modern style: they offer TV sat, air conditioned.

All the rooms in the Bed & Breakfast “Basilica Square” are spacious, bright and quiet, with arched ceilings and thick walls.

Three bedrooms have a view on the Scala Santa of the famous Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. Two of the bedrooms have modern en-suite bathrooms and a queen sized bed. The third bedroom has two single beds with private bathroom outside the room.
In our Bed and Breakfast it is possible to have breakfast in the kitchen.

Located in the historical centre of Rome, at just a few steps from all the sites of tourist interest, like the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colosseum and the Square of Porta Maggiore, “Basilica Square” Bed & Breakfast is in a quiet and silent building.

“Basilica Square” B&B is five hundred meters from the Colosseum. In a 10 minutes walk you can reach Fori Imperiali, Piazza Venezia, Piazza di Spagna, Via Frattina and Via Condotti.

The apartment is very well connected to the rest of the city by public transportation. We are two hundred meters from Metro's line A (stops - Manzoni and San Giovanni), five hundred meters from Metro's line B (stop - Colosseo), about one hundred meters from the main bus terminus. By a few stops of metro you can also reach the wonderful Saint Peter Square.

Even though our Bed and Breakfast is located right in Rome's historical centre, it is situated outside the ‘limited traffic area' (ZTL) so that you can use your own means of transportation to get there. Under the building there is a metered parking and a private garage is just 200 meters away. Even though “Basilica Square” Bed & Breakfast is located right in the centre of the city, it is very easy to reach because it is close to “Termini” central station and to all the other metros (line A and B).

From “Leonardo da Vinci” Airport :
Take the train to Termini station, then the Metro line A until the stop “San Giovanni".

From "Ciampino" Airport :
Take the bus to the metro line A stop "Anagnina", take that Metro to the stop “San Giovanni”.

From "Roma Termini", the train station :
You can take either Metro line A or B or bus #714 (which leaves every five minutes).
