Antica Casa Nebiolo, holiday apartments located 5 Km north-east from Asti, in a small and evocative country village called Migliandolo, near Portacomaro d'Asti. The house is an old 19th century manor-house, used in the past as shop, restaurant and guesthouse named "Locanda del Leone".

The wide court facing the wood gives you the chance to relax lying on a deck-chair while your children are playing; we have a barbecue as well.
At your request we can organize wine tasting with local wines and special thematic dinners according to the season, just to let you enjoy our gastronomic Piedmont's specialities: salami, agnolotti (Piemontese stuffed pasta), Bagna Cauda (a Piemontese sauce made with garlic, olive oil and anchovies), fritto misto (mixed fried food, meat, fruits, chocolate, amaretto etc.), bollito misto (boiled meat served with home made sauce), bunet (a traditional chocolate pudding from Piedmont, flavoured with amaretti and coffee).

For special occasions you can enjoy our beautiful tavern with fireplace, furnished with original ancient furniture, taken by the old restaurant and restored.
Take a chance and visit our "Crutin" a traditional cellar carved in sandstone.

You can rent a bike for excursions or spend your time in the near riding school and in the 18 holes golf Club Margara as well (only 15 Km away).
We can also help you to organize personalized tours with licensed guides and tour escorts. And don't forget to take part to a real truffle hunting. Just few Km from our "Antica Casa" you can find some excellent restaurants as well.

We have five apartments, a one-room apartment and four two-rooms apartments, each of them with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, cable TV, bed linens and towels. On your request we can provide you children's furniture: high-chairs and cots, diapers.
Breakfast served with a little extra charge.
On request we can also provide you a sideboard fully supplied with food (extra charge of 30 Euro) or a basket with Piedmont's typical products from small local farms (extra charge of 50 Euro)
In every apartment you will find information and brochures about our land and indications about wineries and local wine cellars.

A big tavern with fireplace is at you disposal and we can organise wine and Piedmont's typical food's tasting.
All our guests can use the laundry and the clothes-line
You can have a nice relaxing time in the big yard where your children can freely play.


Arrival by car: the "Antica Casa Nebiolo" is only 5 km away from the highway gate Asti Est (A21 Torino - Piacenza) and only 5 km away from the highway gate Portacomaro (Highway Asti - Cuneo under construction). Get off the highway at Asti Est (East), pay the toll and turn left to Alessandria. After 1,5 Km turn left where the signs point to Portacamaro and Scurzelengo, and after 3,5 km turn right to Migliandolo. (Follow the sign pointing to "Antica Casa Nebiolo)

From the airport: the "Antica Casa Nebiolo" is less than one hour from the international airports Torino Caselle, Genova C. Colombo and Milano Linate - Milano Malpensa.
