The Bed and Breakfast "A Room for Holiday" is the ideal for a happy holiday in Rome .
It is situated near the historic centre, rich of antiquities and beauties and site of cultural events. Near the Basilica of Saint John Lateran, Cathedral of Rome; near the Colosseum, symbol of the Eternal City, the Imperial Forums, the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill.

A few minutes’ walk will take you to the Churches of Saint Mary Major and Saint Clemente; with some bus stops, you will get to Venice Square and the Vittoriano, Navona Square and the Pantheon.
The “b and b” structure will make you enjoy your stay because of its central position. It is 400 m. far from the A underground stop “Saint John”, in the homonym Lateran Square, centre of public trasport links for any direction.

Situated beyond Appia Street, you can easily reach the Stations: Termini, Tiburtina and Tuscolana. Some underground stops are needed to arrive at the Trevi Fountain, the Basilica of Saint Peter and the Vatican State.

The Bed and Breakfast “A room for holiday” is on the third floor of an elegant building in a calm private street, near the historical centre of Rome . The flat is made of a hall-way with a sitting-room in common with the family and, at the exsclusive disposal of the guests you willl find: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living kitchen and a square terrace. The rooms are large, sunshined and silent, with thick walls. They have got a classical style furniture and overlook on a living terrace, wide enough to have a break or a rest, among our flowers. Two bedrooms have a King size bed, while the third room has two single beds, which can be eventually joined. Next to the rooms, there are two bathrooms, not en-suite but reserved to the guests, with showers and windows.

In The Morning the breakfast is scheduled, in the morning, in the living kitchen, made of a dining-room (comfortable for all the potential six guests) and the service room (tea and coffee provided).


No smoking ni the B&B, except in the terrace; No animals are allowed.

The house has just been remodelled and its atmosphere is particularly accurated and warmly familiar. Our family, being the staff, speaks the English language and will help you to organize touristic visits or any routes required (about art, culture, sport or cooking).

FROM HIGHWAY:


Exit ROMA EST, then follow indications TANGENZIALE EST direction APPIO SAN GIOVANNI, take VIA LA SPEZIA and continue until you reach the arches of PORTA SAN GIOVANNI (on your right side). Leave them on the right, go ahead and take VIA MAGNAGRECIA (on the right corner, there is a COIN Store). After two traffic lights, turn on the left, take VIA FALERIA; after 20 metres, the first turning on the right, VIA CUMA, and after other 20 metres, the first turning on the left, VIA SUESSOLA. It is our short, private street and we are at the number 1.

FROM ROME TERMINI RAILWAY STATION:

By underground: take Line A (orange) direction ANAGNINA and get off at SAN GIOVANNI stop.

By bus: lines 16 and 360 will take you to SAN GIOVANNI BASILICA.


From Tuscolana Station

By Bus: 16 and 85 to San Giovanni.

From Tiburtina Station

Line B up to Station Termini and Line A to San Giovanni.

By Bus: 649.

Buses from Storic Centre: 81,85,87,186,628,850.


From San Giovanni, it is 200 metres on foot. Take VIA MAGNAGRECIA (COIN store at the corner), on the left side for 100 metres. At the first traffic light, turn left and take VIA ARDEA, ahead for 50 metres, turn right into VIA FALERIA, a little ahead, turn on the left, VIA CUMA, and on the right again, VIA SUESSOLA.

It is our short, private street and we are at the number 1, extension 11, “A room for holiday” (Luca Lo Conte) or, alternatively, ext. 14.


FROM ROME CIAMPINO AIRPORT :

Regular shuttle bus service connects CIAMPINO airport with ANAGNINA metro station. Take Line A (orange) direction BATTISTINI and get off at SAN GIOVANNI stop. Upon request, we may provide a private car service.

From San Giovanni, follow the directions as “FROM ROME TERMINI”, from San Giovanni.


FROM ROME FIUMICINO AIRPORT :

There are train connections FIUMICINO airport – TERMINI railway station and FIUMICINO airport - TUSCOLANA train station every 15-20 minutes from where SAN GIOVANNI area is easily reachable by underground. Upon request, we may provide a private car service.
