Lodging agritourism Lipari Island Monte delle Cristule

We are an English/Italian family in the process of setting up an agriturismo.
You can walk or mountain-bike along old footpaths, do some bird-watching (in particular kestrels, cristule in Sicilian dialect) and if you love the countryside, peace and tranquillity, even while you are enjoying a busy holiday, we are your ideal destination.
It's a haven for those who are looking for unspoilt, true nature, in its harshness and essentiality', for those
who want to walk on naked soil, love wild flora and the rocks to which the volcano has given vivid colours of fire.
The buildings recall the typical architecture of the Aeolian rural houses and are furnished with hints to the old local peasant tradition.
Since we love our land and the environment we've tried to use mainly eco-friendly natural materials.

We offer B&B or self-catering accommodation in two houses with mezzanine floors and kitchen/kitchen area (one sleeps 2-6 the other 2-8).
We are sure that you will feel immediately at your ease, conquered by the relaxed and family atmosphere. We are open all year around on request for a minimum of two nights stay but in the high season (07-08) when we require a minimum of one week. Linen and towels are changed weekly.
Free shuttle service from/to the harbour on arrival and departure. In order to enjoy a greater freedom of movement we advise you to hire a moped/car. As an alternative we offer you our shuttle service to Lipari centre (7Km) twice a day (in the morning and afternoon).
The nearest bus stop is about 1Km away. Smoking is only allowed outside. We also supply basic baby/toddler equipment on request. We will be available to advise you, organise for you various services and guide and accompany you in the most interesting excursions. We'll be happy to meet all your needs since we would like not only to have you as guests, but also as friends.

Kestrels' Heights is located on Monte Gallina, a hill on the island of Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian archipelago.
From our position, perched on a cliff, you can admire a spectacular view which embraces the surrounding hills, the islands of Filicudi, Alicudi, the tops of Salina's twin hills, the Sicilian coastline, Etna and the beautiful clear sea.
