Situated in the heart of the Elsa River Valley, half-way between the historic, art towns of Florence and Siena (about 35 Km. from Florence and 25Km. from Siena), in the locality of S. Filippo, in the county of Barberino Val d' Elsa.
The borghetto is an old dwelling formed by two farmhouses and a hay loft immediately below S.Filippo. You will be delighted by the wonderful panorama that reaches, on clear days, the seaside province of Grosseto. The buildings have been restored in the local style and the charming results blend well fited in.
The Borghetto features four rooms with baths and two suites with kitchens, furnished in traditional country style and painted in bright colours creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere. One can dine in the charming and romantic vaulted diningroom where the owner will serve you delicious home cooking and tipical tuscan recepies toghether with the superbe local Chianti wine.
All this in a very warm and familiar atmosphere that will make you enjoy the real pleasure of tuscany welcoming.
